Illuminated manuscripts of the Four Gospels, with 24 full page miniatures, 190 marginal ornaments marking the pericopes and decorative initiials. Also included are: the letter of Eusebius, bishop of Ceasarea to Carpianus, on the Gospel Canons, Canon Tables, and a reading on the women taken into adultery. Leather binding with silver plaques mounted on wooden boards. The backstrip of the cover is laced with silk cord lining passing through silver eyelets; patterned silk linings on the inside covers and the fly leaves. Text in large bolorgir, written in two columns. Gospels are divided into lessons; section numbers in margin against text; concordances in lower margins of page; Pentecostal lection numbers.
